Guadalest (full name: El Castell de Guadalest) is a little mountainous town located in the province of Alicante, Spain. Despite its small size Guadalest is a picturesque town, making it an ideal day-trip for people staying at the Costa Blanca, and a good starting point for those interested in the countryside.
The Bell Tower of Guadalest is resting on its very own rock nearby the Alcozaiba fortress. The Alcozaiba fortress is an 11th century fortress built by the Moors. Today all that is left is a restored tower.
